Medicare Rebates

For your convenience, we can submit your Medicare claim on your behalf at the practice following your appointment, provided you have a valid Medicare card. If you are eligible for a rebate, it is typically paid directly into your nominated bank account with Medicare.

Appointment Cancellations & Late Arrivals

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. This allows us to offer your appointment to another patient who may be waiting. Appointments cancelled with less than 2 hours’ notice may incur a late cancellation fee. If you are running late, please contact the practice as soon as possible. While we will do our best to accommodate you, arriving late may require an appointment to be shortened or rescheduled to minimise delays for other patients.

Missed appointment

Missed appointments and late cancellations reduce appointment availability for other patients who require medical care. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify the practice as soon as possible. Appointments cancelled with less than 2 hours’ notice, or appointments that are not attended, may incur a missed appointment fee. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as this policy helps us provide timely access to care for all patients.

Worker’s Compensation

Patients are responsible for all accounts until they provide a claim number
from the insurance company. Contact details need to be provided for
direct billing and payment from the insurance company.
Prior to these details being provided, the patient is to ensure payment
is made on the day of consultation.

Telehealth Consultations

Telehealth consultations are charged at the same level as outlined fee
structure.

Pension & Health Card Holders

A reduced private fee may apply to all patients including health care
concession and pension card holders.

Please be advised the fees are set at the discretion of the
Doctor and are not the responsibility of the Receptionist.
